Phosphate Rock Dryer Introduction

Phosphate rock has various applications. It can not only be used to make phosphate fertilizer, but also can be used to make phosphoric acid and other phosphates. It is widely used in medicine, ceramics, food, national defense and other fields. The processing of phosphate rock requires a phosphate rock dryer to dry the phosphate concentrate. 

Our Phosphate rock dryer system is mainly consists of feeder, rotary drum dryer, discharging machine, induced draft fan, cyclone dust collector and distribution cabinet, etc. The full drying plant can dry phosphate ore from the moisture of about 50% ~20% to the moisture less than 5%, and final product with the particle size between 5~20mm.

Phosphate Rock Dryer Working Principle

Firstly, wet material is crushed by the crushing machine, transported to the screw conveyor by the belt conveyor, then go into the rotary drum, after drying, most of the dry material will be discharged through the belt conveyor, the left material will go into the cyclone dust collector, where the dust will be collected, with the function of induced draft fan, the left material will discharged through the conveyor.
